Welcome to the newly enhanced web-site for the DFW IFMA chapter!! This site is a tool for Facility Managers to access information on the activities of the chapter to help in their development, and search for industry news and resources. This site would not be possible with out the help of the volunteers who work hard to put it together. I would like to recognize Peter Maerz for all the time he gave in the development of the look and feel as well as the content of the site. I would also like to thank Shannon Lovett for her support to the site as well I hope you find what you need but if you don’t please let our site administrator know.
The Board set several goals at the beginning of the year and each member is working very hard to deliver these to the chapter. Each Board member had one thing in their sites and that is the growth of the chapter. A focus on program topics that are important to the Facility Manager and enhancing our sponsor program allowing our associate members to get more from their relationship with the chapter are a key focus for this year. The Board and Committee Chairs are now working on a strategic plan that takes up to the year 2015. What will our chapter look like in the year 2015, thinking and moving forward is what Facility Management is all about.
This New Year will continue to focus on the year 2015 and with our Board members and committee chairs we will continue the journey to bring our members the value that this chapter can offer through our programs and relationships develop by our members!
