Scott Smith has been a professional member of the DFW IFMA Chapter for more than 15 years, and a Certified Facilities Manager since 2003.

He has been a Facilities Manager for 17 years, including 9 years as Vice President of Corporate Services and Real Estate for the Dallas and Mexico City offices of Goldman Sachs.  His Facility Management career began at Bear Stearns in 1993 where, on his first day at the firm, he was asked if he could relocate the firm to a new larger facility.  After successful completion of that project, Scott designed and built a new facility for the Jones Day Dallas office.  Currently, he is the Director of Corporate Facilities & Security for the Dallas campus of Fannie Mae.

The DFW IFMA Chapter has given Scott the opportunity to develop a host of business relationships, as well as many close friendships over the years.  As a long-term member, he hopes to bring a unique perspective to the leadership of the chapter.  Scott believes that staying connected with our membership and capitalizing on the vast array of knowledge and experience we have within our chapter is key to the continued development and success of our chapter.
