The Department of Energy’s Combined Heat and Power Southcentral Technical Assistance Partnership (DOE CHP TAP) (see website) is finalizing a half-day workshop and tour for early November at Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth that will cover CHP, microgrids and resiliency.
This free half-day event will consist of two educational panels, led by DOE, and a guided tour of the Wesleyan CHP facility. This program complements the outreach and education partnership that the DOE CHP TAP has with IFMA’s Environmental Stewardship, Utilities & Sustainability (ESUS) Community.
DOE CHP TAP is searching for a local DFW Facility Manager who has practical experience with CHP systems and is willing to participate on a panel, speak about their operational experience and regional best practices. If you are interested in participating or would like to learn more, please contact Marina Badoian-Kriticos, Research Scientist, DOE CHP TAP, at firstname.lastname@example.org, or Lee Harris, CFM, IFMA DFW Chapter President, at email@example.com.
